The theory of green; and sustainable solutions in city making is extensive in the literature, including in Slovakia. However, in practice, cities often implement it only in a very narrow scope. However, the city of Trnava, which has become our partner, is an example of how nature-friendly solutions and climate change adaptation measures can transform the image of a city, creating not only a more pleasant and healthy microclimate, but also a more pleasant and aesthetic experience for its inhabitants. Changes in mobility are also an essential part of this, with walking and cycling coming into favour. The transformation of housing estates through the use of 'green' measures is particularly interesting and has lessons for other countries. It is in the examples of the projects in the Agátka housing estates that it is possible to experience how anonymous public spaces and monotonous buildings can be given a human scale and create interesting micro-spaces for the diverse enjoyment of the inhabitants, while supporting the local biosphere. The workshop with the representatives of the city of Trnava also had a separate part, which was devoted to the issue of the involvement of the marginalized Roma community in the area of "Coburg", where the field research was also conducted, in the active life of the city.
