Innovations in study curriculas- Creating Safe Places

Security is one of the most important aspects in the creation of a city. However, security is often considered a trivial matter, and thus often by architects and city designers overlooked or neglected. t only comes to our attention when something in the urban structure does not work. However, the implementation of solutions to an existing, inappropriately designed neighbourhood, street or square is usually several times more difficult and financially disadvantageous. That is why, together with assoc. prof. Tegg Westbrook, from the Department of Safety, Economics, and Planning at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Stavanger, we took a look at the most common problems our cities are currently facing and how we as architects and urban planners can respond to them.
